• Have I confused colorblindness with biblical unity?  When has that assumption kept me from loving people well?

• When, if ever, have I lamented together with people of other races?  What about lament binds people together and builds beloved community?

• Have I practiced biblical lament or only felt sympathy?  What pain have I ignored because it did not affect me directly?

• What is one thing I could do to deepen my understanding of racial realities in my community as well as within my church?

• Where does my church spend its time and its money?  How much money is allocated towards ministries that actively address racial injustice?

• In my church, who holds power and whose voice is amplified?
